Words That Found Their Shape
Typography shapes how language is understood.
There was no standardized Bangla font tailored for UN communications, leading to inconsistencies in readability, tone, and visual identity. Existing options lacked the cohesion needed for clear, professional communication across agencies.
We approached this as a design-led systems intervention researching Bangla typography and building a Unicode font family from scratch. Balancing aesthetics, readability, and technical compatibility, we created a cohesive type system for diverse communication needs.
Delivered a unified Bangla font system adopted across UN communications, improving consistency, readability, and visual identity. The solution strengthened accessibility and enabled a more cohesive, professional presentation across platforms and content formats.
